The minimum age for admission to the school both for boarders and days scholars in lower K.G is three and a half years. The registration for admission is open from October to February. The school prospectus contains the registration forms for boarders as well as day scholars. Written/ Aptitude tests for entrance to various classes are conducted for all the candidates seeking admission in the school. This is followed by an interview. No correspondence is entertained regarding the admission of the students who do not qualify for the preliminary test. The principal has the sole right to the admission and his decision is final and binding. :
The academic session begins in the first week of April every year. New admission to the school is subject to the following:

	Timely registration of those seeking admission.
	Availability of vacancies in the class in which admission is sought.
	Qualifying in the written examination and interview.

Subjects for the written exam are as under:

	K.G. classes -only aptitude test.
	Classes I to VI -English, Mathematics and Hindi.
	Classes VII to IX -English, Mathematics, Hindi and general Knowledge.

New admission to classes X and XII is not permitted. Admission of students in classes XI is allowed only provisionally in April and is confirmed in June/July based on their performance in class X of a recognized Board/State/University.
