• GC Juyal Memorial Inter School English  Debate 2019.

On 04 October, 2019, Marshall School, Organized the prestigious GC JuyalMemorial  All India  Inter School English Debate at Neelkanth, Marshall School , Junior Section , Dehra Dun . The Topic for the English debate was “ India’s aspiration of being a super power is like a nice house on a wrong street”. Eight prestigious schools from Dehra Dun took part in the Debate. The topic was hotly debated, wherein participants from different schools put across facts, figures and quotes to prove their point. Namely following English Medium Schools took part in the Debate- St. Joseph Academy, Convent of Jesus amd Mary, St. Thomas College, Hilton School, Delhi Public School, Pine Hall , Asian School and the host school Marshall School Dehra Dun. The English Debate was judged by a panel of three esteemed judges, MrNilayKukrety, Advocate &  Teacher, Mr. K Sriniwas Rao, Educationist in the field of Pharma, and MrNimmish Chaudhary , Trainer for MBA professionals. Team of VanshBatra and PragyaDobhal from St. Thomas College, Dehra Dun stood First ; followed by team of ManshaYagnik and Taanvi Arora from Convent of Jesus and Mary, Dehra Dun stood second. Trophies and certificates were awarded to the winners and participants by the School’s President, MrRajnishJayal and MrRatnishJayal, Chairman in the presence of DN Thapliayl, Headmaster,MrsJyotiOli, Coordinator, Teachers and Guests. On this occasion, MrRajnishJayal, President, Marshall School Society also expressed his views on the topic. He thanked all the school Principals for sending their teams and extended invitation for future programs to be organized by Marshall School, Dehra Dun.
