The Institute is located at EC Road, Dehradun, Uttaranchal, a place which is surrounded by beauty of Hills & Forests, which make the environment totally pollution free. That's why the campus is most ideal place for study. Moreover the choice of city for establishing the Institute invariably came down to intellectually and scientifically rich town at Dehradun which is known not only for its National significance but an international presence in terms of scientific endeavor. The institute has an advantage of its location in picturesque bowl of doon valley known for its salubrious climate over the year. In winter the temperature of city goes down to 2 to 4 degree Celsius and in summer the mercury touches around 30 degree Celsius.
